Heavily influenced with the artsyle of those in illustrated dictionary.
I grew up with these semi-realist kind of drawing style.
Sometimes, I find it easier to sketch the original idea on a paper.
Maybe it’s because I originally a traditional artist before moving on
into digital media. When I sketch on paper, I always try to make it as detailed as possible to make it easier for me when moving it into the digital media. Usually, I will go as far as making the lineart on the paper.

After taking a picture / scanning the sketch, I will then make the lineart in my drawing program. The next step will be adding the base color to the finished lineart drawing. I usually did my shade up to two shades to create a good dimension. It’s important to know where the shadow will be. The last step is adding details and making overall color adjustment. I usually convert the file to Photoshop in this step.
